The beach in Penzance stretches for around a mile along the length of the Promenade. Mostly shingle with a few patches of sand there is only a beach here from mid to low tide.

Low tide reveals a rocky landscape that should satisfy even the most avid of rock-poolers! It's also a good spot for snorkelling and wild swimming at higher tides.

The backdrop to this beach is the Edwardian / Victorian seafront with the Art Deco Jubilee pool, amusement arcade and row of hotels and guest houses.
