Kenneggy Sands Beach

Secluded, sandy beach with difficult access.
At low tide it's a reasonable sized stretch of flat sand, but it all but disappears on higher tides potentially leaving visitors stranded.
The setting and surroundings are particularly agreeable with a mock Elizabethan manor house overlooking the bay and a plethora of quaint cottages on the walk down.
To get down to Keneggy Cove involves a ten minute walk followed by a fairly long scrabble over rocks. Until recently there was a somewhat terrifying path down to the beach ending in a rope. As far as I know this is no longer an option.

Fantastic beach
Great beach used by textile and nudist who tend to go to the far end of the beach only accessible at low tide as big rocks in between the two beaches.
Fantastic beach
Great beach and used by both textile and nudists, went today and few nudists at far end.
Water is like being in the Caribbean
A taste of the Caribbean but in Cornwall
Fabulous beach but tidal so only accessible at low tide, nudists do use the beach but the far end so if you don’t like then stay away from far end.

Sep 20th 2022I have not been for a few years, but unless something has really changed, the truth is that this beach is inaccessible for all but the young and fit. Anyone with any sort of mobility issues, or the very young will not be able to get down the rope onto the beach, or more importantly climb back up it! I would hate anyone to go to all the trouble of getting down there only to find they cannot manage that last bit. I give it 3 stars as it is a nice beach if you can access it!
Beautiful views
It’s a beach where its hard to access but lovely on it, beware of tides or else can get cut off.
It is used by NUDISTS AND TEXTILES SO BE WARNED ⚠️ YOU MAY SEE A NUDE BODY WALKING AROUND
