Rushy Bay

Looking out across the azure Scillonian waters towards the mysterious, uninhabited isle of Samson is Rushy Bay. This beautiful little sandy beach is located on the more sheltered southern end of the island of Bryher.

The beach has the typical white sand and turquoise sea that one comes to expect of the Scilly Isles. Although not as expansive of some of the islands' other beaches Rushy Bay makes up for this in charm. It has a somewhat cosy feel and is great for kids with plenty to explore and safe paddling.

Beautiful beach - we visited on a sunny June day when the waters were calm and the sea was lovely and warm
