Harlyn Bay - surfing

- surfing
Facing northerly and somewhat sheltered by the bulk of Trevose head Harlyn comes into its own on big swells and south-westerly winds - so most of the winter!
Whilst in summer Harlyn is a great place to learn to surf on a decent swell it is quite a challenging wave. Fast, sucky and sometimes hollow this is a quality break. It is surfable on most tides.
On the down side it can get busy if the rest of the North Coast is blown out and huge.
