'Foxholes' is a fickle wave that works from time to time. When it is good it can be very good. It takes a bit more swell than Porthmeor and requires a spring low tide.

Parking
The nearest car park is at Porthmeor beach, but this is usually full. Parking is always difficult in St Ives. It is usually possible to find a place in the large car park above the town but it is probably better to park in St Erth or Lelant and take the train into St Ives.
