This mid-sized beach is tucked away on the more sheltered eastern side of the Lizard between Porthallow and Porthoustock beaches. With its covering of pebbles it isn't necessarily the most appealing beach for families, but it is in a pretty location and somewhat off the beaten track.

Most visitors to Porthkerris come here for the diving. With its steep drop off the beach provides one of the best shore dives in the UK. Suitable for both experienced and novice divers the cove is home to a well established dive centre.
