Bassetts Cove - surfing

- surfing

Bassetts faces more or less north so is cross-offshore in a south westerly wind. It picks up less swell than most of the beaches along the north coast so places like Godrevy and Porthtowan need to be big before looking here.
The only time to surf at Bassetts is on a low tide as the beach tends to all but disappear at high.
As a rule Bassetts tends to be a pretty closey wave.
