Penzance's east beach starts at the appropriately named Station Rocks and follows the curve of Mount's bay to Longrock.

What used to be one of Cornwall's most polluted beaches is now almost as clean as any thanks to South West Water's Clean Sweep program.

The beaches gently sloping bottom and sheltered aspect makes it one of the safest beaches around. In fact the slope is so gentle you have to walk out about half a mile to get out of your depth.

Access to the beach is either over the railway bridge or along the footpath starting by Penzance bus station.

Eastern Green is generally quiet and quite local.
