This is an isolated sandy beach backed by high cliffs close to Portscatho on the Roseland Peninsula. Bathers should take normal bathing precautions and beware of rip currents. Dogs are allowed but no dog bins are provided. There are walks along a coastal footpath to Portscatho around St Anthony Headland to the west, or to Carne and Pendower beaches in the opposite direction. Watch the sea for cetaceans and basking sharks.directions: From A390 follow A3078. Signposted to the beach. The beach is reached by a footpath through fields and then steep zigzagged steps.
