Polkerris is a tiny hamlet, west of Fowey, down a winding lane past Kilmarth, the last home of Daphne du Maurier. It is also the next cove to Menabilly, the long time home of the author.
Sandy beach with gentle shelf sheltered by harbour wall.
Directions: Turn off the A3082 between Fowey and Par. Signposted to Polkerris. Short walk on the road from the car park in the hamlet.
