Sheltered sand and shingle beach which is fairly safe for swimming although the beach is better known for watersports.
Good fishing can be had from off the rocks particularly at dawn and dusk and small boats can also be launched here. Loe Beach Boat Hire hires out motor boats, kayaks, sailing dinghies and rowing boats and the Loe Beach Watersports Centre is an RYA Training Centre that offers courses in sailing, windsurfing and kayaking amongst others.
Directions: On the A39 take the B3289 towards Feock & the King Harry Ferry. After 2.5 miles you will pick up signs to Loe Beach. If you're coming from the Roseland off the King Harry Ferry, turn left after Trelissick Gardens (signposted Feock & Loe Beach) and continue to Loe Beach.
