Keneggy Sands Beach - West Cornwall

Secluded, sandy beach with difficult access. At low tide it's a reasonable sized beach but it all but disappears on higher tides. The setting and surroundings are particularly agreeable with a mock Elizabethan manor house overlooking the bay and a plethera of quaint cottages on the walk down.

Directions: Take coastal path and descend down low cliff by rope. Alternatively, take the track around the headland from Prussia Cove.

Surfing at Keneggy Sands Beach

Can be surfable on a really big south coast swell but often closes out and there is usually somewhere better. Perhaps it's greatest asset is it is still offshore on a west-northwesterly.
