Also known as Porth Nanven

Cornwall Beaches > West Cornwall > Cot Valley Beach

Two small beaches lie close to the end of the pretty Cot Valley and dogs are allowed on both. Porth Nanven is particularly lovely. Good area for birdwatching.

There are several pretty coves between here and Cape Cornwall including Priest's Cove from where a swimming race is held to the outcrop of rocks known as The Brisons.

Surfing at Cot Valley Beach

There are a few reefs around here that have been surfed. They are quite hard to get to and usually not as good as the nearby beach breaks. In addition to this the set up is quite intimidating.
