Carleon Cove Beach - The Lizard and Falmouth

Carleon Cove is now a deserted rocky cove with a few ruined remains of what was once a busy pilchard fishery and cellar. It is of interest to geologists and naturalists.

Directions: Carleon Cove lies between Kennack Sands and Cadgwith. It is close to the village of Poltesco where there is a car park. the village can be approached by taking the Ruan Minor turning from the main Helston-Lizard road and turning off before Cadgwith.
